Several Malls In Southern California Have Reopened For In-Store Shoppers!

As California begins reopening, some Southern California malls have fully entered stage 2 meaning they've reopened their doors for the first time in months to in-store shoppers. These malls include Brea Mall, the Outlets at Orange, The Shops at Mission Viejo, Carlsbad Premium Outlets, Las Americas Premium Outlets, Fashion Valley, Camarillo Premium Outlets, Desert Hills Premium outlets in Cabazon and Ontario Mills. All of these malls are operated by Simon Property Group and the reopening means new safety measures are put into place. Employees will have their temperatures taken before they can work, wear face coverings at all times and keep their work stations six feet apart. The mall capacity has also been lowered to avoid any crowding and so shoppers can continue social distancing. The seating in food courts have also been reduced and spaced out. South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa will reopen their doors for in-store shopping on June 1st. As of right now, its stores are only open for curbside pickup only. Gov. Gavin Newsom approved Orange County to not only reopen malls for in-store shopping, but also approved restaurants to reopen for in-person dining.
