Things to do in the next few weeks if you've been disrupted by Coronavirus

This week, it all got real-As Coronavirus grows and zero sports events and entertainment has been shut down, residents are avoiding crowds, lathering themselves with hand sanitizer and — increasingly — staying home. Some are finding themselves in self-quarantine.

There's also a lot of parents asking "What am I going to do with my kids for weeks while they're off"? I came up with some ideas along with a survey taken by yougov on what families planned on doing for the next few weeks to avoid going insane! Please feel free to add any to this list. Be safe, don't panic, and this too shall pass...

1). March Movie Madness-Binge all of yours and the families favorite movies/tv shows from Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and on and on

2). Grab a book for you and for the kiddos... Go further and have them create stories and write their own

3). Enjoy some Music, COUNTRY MUSIC(Sorry couldn't resist) or a great time to dive in and explore a podcast or two, or three from iheartradio

4). Tackle a project around the house, get the kids involved, CLEAN, Disinfect, and why not-There's no better time than now!

5). Cook and Create something new in the kitchen...Hold a cooking class with your kids

6). Organize your Home, Kids rooms, and your life

7). Continue to workout, find ways to incorporate the kids, make a plan or a routine

8). Get Outside! From Yard work to Landscaping... Get the bikes ready for Spring/Summer

9). Take a road trip-Since so much is postponed or closed, you can still explore sites right from the car while singing along to the radio

10). Call or Facetime a friend or relative you haven't seen or talked to in awhile-Stay Social

11). Play Board Games-Hey, they're making a comeback!

12). Give Back, Pay it forward and do Charity work as long as it's safe to do so and check on friends and neighbors

13). Help support our local Business owners, especially small businesses by giving them your business, and getting carryout from Bars/Restaurants if possible

13). Most Importantly, while we've never experienced anything quite like this, don't forget to make memories! Continue following up-to-date information from the CDC, but don't forget this is also quality time you can have with you and your family.

Be safe!
