Coronavirus has people on high alert. Several schools have now closed canceling classes and sporting events due to health concerns.
Menlo School in Atherton, will be closed for the weekend after staff were in close contact with someone who tested positive for the virus.In the East bay, Aspire Monarch Charter School has said it would temporarily shut down due to possible exposures.
A San Jose primary school is closed for the week and will be having a deep cleaning after a preschool teacher was tested positive for coronavirus.
With the number of cases going up, we might see more school closures around the bay area.
