Fast food …

Turns out we’re spending a lot less time in the kitchen than our parents did. A new study found that the average adult spends just an hour cooking and prepping their food each day. That’s about an hour less a day than their parents spent cooking when they were the same age. The reason? We’re busy. 31% of those polled said lack of time was the biggest obstacle to cooking, followed by not knowing how to cook (24%) and working too late (15%). But even though people aren’t spending as much time cooking homemade meals, 54% of said they saw the kitchen as the heart of the home.
