Have you heard? "The Sandlot" is coming to TV with the original cast. I can hardly wait! For me, this is one of those movies that when you're flipping around to see what's on, if this comes up YOU LEAVE IT ON :-)
The writer and director of the original movie says the TV series takes place in 1984. Smalls, Ham, Yeah-Yeah and the rest of the Sandlot gang are all in their early 30’s with kids of their own. That’s all we know for now but I'm sure more info will be coming soon.
