TeeRoy's 2 Cents:
- Rapaport seems to be having a change of heart. He walked back calling Meek “trash” and changed it to “overrated.” He also called Meek out for going harder at him than he did at Drake.
- Nothing's sadder than a washed-up actor trolling for some clout.
- Why does anyone, anywhere care about anything that Rapaport has to say?
- Some folks think just because they have an opinion, the world should care.
- When you perform at a big event like the All-Star Gameor the Super Bowl, you open yourself up to a whole world of criticism from folks who don't know or care for your music.
- Meek is a role model putting in work in criminal justice reform. What's Rapaport doing besides being a culture vulture?
Meek Mill wasn't amused after hearing Michael Rapaport’s critique of his performance at the NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte.
The actor-turned-podcaster tweeted about the halftime performance, "Meek Mill, great story. Great look. Trash rapper. Sorry.” He then went on a rant spanning several tweets, claiming Meek “isn’t even a Top 20 rapper from Philadelphia.”
On Monday night, Meek clapped back, “Aye @MichaelRapaport don’t ever use the word trash when you’re speaking on nothing from our culture unless you tryna get trashed. #2 Who gave you authorization to be speaking on us? #3 What you charging now? Last time I seen you, you wanted a selfie. Be great tho on the net… I never liked you since you played remy on the roof top... I kinda been on ya ass anyway lol… And I don’t follow him or know his name, I’m happy I didn’t @ him right, lol.”
