KANYE WEST: Yeezus... goes to AFRICA!

If you thought Thursday in the Oval Office was the most memorable day of Kanye West's week, wait until you hear what followed it.

Shortly after lunch with President Trump, he traveled halfway across the world and returned to social media.

Kanye, Kim Kardashian and their three little ones went to Africa. They reportedly booked an entire luxury hotel in Uganda, where he plans to work on Yandhi, the album due out next month, and maybe shoot some videos. Big Sean is staying with them to make collaboration easier. He plans to “feel the energy” in Africa and talked about plans to record into a mic “in the middle of nature.”

Meanwhile, online, Kanye made his presence known through a 10-minute Periscope stream in which he declared himself the greatest living recording artist and says the spirits of Fela Kuti, Bob Marley and Tupac flow through him. At one point, he got emotional, recalling a conversation with Sony/ATV where he asked to buy back his publishing and was told the rights would cost $8-$9 million. But when he called back and said he had money and was ready to do the deal, they told him no.

He didn’t interact with fans at all during the live stream, where he admitted he was sleep-deprived and continuously rubbed his forehead and stroked his beard.
