Amy Shumer Reveals How Adele Almost Officiated Her Wedding

I think we're all still getting used to referring to Amy Schumer as a married woman, but she recently has opened up about the details of when she got engaged, how they planned the wedding and of course the wedding day.

We know the whole thing happened VERY fast with Amy and her now-husband Chris Fischer, but just how fast are we talking here?

Well, thanks to a recent interview, we know that Chris proposed by waking Amy up in the middle of the night, presenting her with the ring and telling her, "I got you this."

And THEN they planned the ceremony for "three or four" days before she texted her friends and family saying, "I'm getting married on Tuesday. I hope you can come."

I mean, could you imagine getting that text from a friend or family member?! Like, uhm what? When did you get engaged? What is happening?

Amy ALSO told the funny story about when Adele almost agreed to marry she and Chris because she had recently gotten ordained!

Amy and Adele are both close friends with Jennifer Lawrence, so the three of them and Amy's then-fiance got together one night and were drinking when Adele told Amy and Chris that she had just gotten ordained and could marry them!

Of course, though, when morning came around Adele realized this may not be a great idea because she had gotten ordained for the specific reason of marrying her close friend Alan Carr and his partner. She sent Amy a message explaining that, and Amy joked that what Adele probably really wanted to say was that Alan and his partner would probably be annoyed if she, "just starting marrying random basic b****es."

L O L.

But really, that would have been amazing had Adele married Amy and Chris... but I'm sure it made her marrying Alan and his partner much more special!

So happy for Amy and Chris! They seem SO happy!
