Where there's a Jennifer Lawrence, there are jokes.
And conversation about her drunk alter ego, apparently, who comes out when Jen goes on vacation.
"I need rest before Gail... I think my girlfriends named her Gail."
"It's not every time... I think it might be rum."
And of course, Ellen decides that since Jennifer's movie Red Sparrow comes out today, she is officially on "vacation" which means it's time for RUM.
Jen jokes around that there's no way these drinks are real, but after taking a sip realizes they are DEFINITELY real.
"I'm not this big of a drinker, but when I'm on a press tour, I really drink a lot!"
I can imagine press tours are REALLY stressful and exhausting so, sure, you might need a drink or two!
But who exactly is this alter ego, Gail? Well, Gail is like, a bit of a mess. She just kind of shows up when Jennifer drinks and Gail gets a little too brave... like diving into shark-infested waters. Or pulling worms out of conchs and swallowing all the worms in her group. WHAT?!
Gail is that friend you have who really needs to drink some water and coffee at the end of a long night out. And apparently she loves to arm wrestle.
And it's not just any alcohol that does it! When Jennifer drinks vodka, like she did at Ellen DeGeneres' birthday party, "that did something else, but not Gail."
Vodka, though, that leads her to hugging Jennifer Aniston and fighting with her about who loves who the most (uhm, that sounds like a DREAM!)
