Meghan Trainor’s busy at work on her major label debut album “Title,” which she says is loaded with positive messages for girls about making sure boys treat them with respect.

Meghan admits it took a while for her to learn that lesson herself and that’s why she wanted to write about it explaining to Rolling Stone:

Nobody told me “Make sure boys take YOU on a date and treat you right” I was always paying and at one point I realized “You’re too pretty and cool for this.”

Tickets for Meghan’s 1st ever headlining tour go on sale tomorrow.
