Some of the biggest stars in music gathered under one roof for night one of the iHeartRadio Music Festival held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The festival kicked off on Friday with performances by Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Jason Derulo, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj — who was joined by the “Break Free” singer during “Bang Bang.”
The two-day event will resume with day time performances by Meghan Trainor, Lil Jon, and 5 Seconds of Summer at the MGM Resorts Village, before making its way back to the main stage with One Direction, Lorde, Ed Sheeran, and more on Saturday evening.

It was hard to top the first night of the iHeartRadio Music Festival between Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, and Usher … but Saturday’s show was right there.
One Direction kicked it all off, followed by Ed Sheeran who was joined by Macklemore for an unforgettable collaboration of “Same Love.”
More memorable performances continued throughout the night courtesy of Lorde, Train, Meghan Trainor, Iggy Azalea, Paramore, and finally, Calvin Harris.
