Grammy week is underway, and the biggest acts in music are in Los Angeles for a marathon of star-studded parties and dinners before the awards ceremony.

Music mogul Clive Davis will once again host his annual Recording Academy pre-Grammy Gala this Sunday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, with expected appearances from Diplo, Justin Bieber, Beck, Christina Aguilera, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, Lenny Kravitz and many, many more. The soiree is invite-only, and some celebs are even denied admittance.

While us plebeians dream of scoring an invite to the exclusive celebratory dinner, Davis called On Air with Ryan Seacrest to paint a picture of his diverse crowd.

"I have respect for achievement and I'm honored that they come to this every year in and year out," he said. "So you do the best you can, use your common sense and you try to have an event that's unlike any event, any dinner, any show that they've ever seen ... It is a unique audience unlike any in the world."

Davis' party comes ahead of the 58th annual Grammy Awards, which airs Monday, February 15 on CBS.
