Meet Charlotte.

She's an 11-year-old Girl Scout who absolutely understands how to market a product and she's hit a bullseye with her cookie campaign.

In an effort to sell the most Girl Scout Cookies this year, Charlotte came up with the idea of contacting one of her dad's rich friend's. Well, Charlotte's father found the note and shared it with another one of his friends, Mike Rowe, of tv's "Dirty Jobs" fame.  The combination of her writing style combined with her absolute and total honesty instantly got Mike Rowe's attention.  Mike decided to shoot this video to share his appreciation of young Charlotte's sales ability. I bet they'll be talking about Charlotte within Girl Scout circles for years to come.   I love Mike's comment wrapping up Charlotte's video message to him. "Hope for the species." Let's hope Mike, Let's hope!

A quick update... Many of you are wondering about the number of Girl Scout Cookie Boxes sold as a result of Charlotte's letter. I suspect this is because many of you are involved in some sort of on-line wager. While gambling is probably not an approved Girl Scout activity, I'm happy to provide the stats as they become available, as well as the shifting odds on the 10,000 Box Over/Under. Here then, is the latest update from Charlotte, who has - if my math is correct - exceeded her sales goal for the 2017 fiscal year by 2,400%. So far....
