According to the results of the Ooma.com Internet Security Survey—a national survey of 1,000 Americans conducted by Ooma. 

31% of Americans have had their Internet network, e-mail, or computer hacked or compromised. 

Notable findings of the study include: 

INTERNET BROWSING EXPOSES MORE THAN HALF OF US TO DANGER 

54% of Americans have accidentally visited a website that infected their computer with a virus.

Ignorance of which websites are phishing for our personal information or contain spyware, malware, or other threats leaves us exposed.

ONLY 1 IN 5 AMERICANS ARE AWARE OF THE ISSUE.
