Taylor Swift Mocks Her Reputation in 'Look What You Made Me Do' Visual

To say that the Reputation era of Taylor Swift is here is an understatement. Taylor dropped her brand new single "Look What You Made Me Do" this week and teased its accompanying music video. And since then, director Joseph Kahn had been talking about the visual on social media, sending Swifties everywhere into a craze with anticipation. But now, at long last, the masterpiece has finally arrived. And it really is a masterpiece.

Taylor's "Look What You Made Me Do" was debuted during this year's MTV VMAs, and the visual truly made her lyrics come to life. Mind. Officially. Blown.

"Look What You Made Me Do" is, without a doubt, a much darker song for Taylor than we're used to. And the video starts off that way, in a graveyard, looking at a tombstone with "Here Lies Taylor's Reputation" on it. Remember? "The old Taylor can't come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, cause she's dead." BUT, from six feet under, dead Zombie Taylor rises from the dead.

She'll be the actress starring in your bad dreams...

Then, as we move through the video, we see different version of Taylor. Queen of the Snakes (as she sits on a throne with a gazillion snakes before her wearing all the snake jewelry), Celebrity Taylor who gets into a car crash holding a Grammy Award, Taylor on a swing in a giant bird cage, Bank Robber Taylor, Biker Taylor, Dominatrix Taylor, and more.

And the end of the video? Possibly THE most iconic ending to a Taylor Swift music video you could ever imagine. We see Taylor through all stages of her career. The curly-haired Country Music Taylor, the character from her "You Belong with Me" music video (the video she won a VMA award for and got interrupted by Kanye West during her acceptance speech), that VMA-winning Taylor, Taylor from the "Look What You Made Me Do" music video, Swan Lake "Shake It Off" Taylor, and more.

But the very end is what blew our minds. The last line of the whole video: "I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative." The line calls back to Taylor's response to the video that Kim Kardashian leaked of Swift's phone call with Kanye West.

Following the music video's released, Swifties shared their reactions, pointing out details of the music video, and their general feels. And, well, same.
