Ariana Grande's Costa Rica concert is the subject of some controversy after a 22-year-old Colombian man reportedly threatened to set-up an attack on the singer's concert, The Associated Press reported.
According to Costa Rican prosecutors, the suspect is a Colombian citizen, who made the threats online in Arabic. Head Investigator Walter Espinoza identified him by the family names, Caicedo Lopez. Nonetheless, Grande's concert, which was held in Alajuela on Sunday, went on without any hiccups. Billboard also reported that the suspect was released later that night on parole, but he is barred from leaving the country as police continue the investigation.
News of the threat comes less than two months after a suicide bomber killed 22 individuals after Grande wrapped up her concert in Manchester, England. Still, Grande isn't letting the controversy halt any future "Dangerous Woman Tour" plans. She's scheduled to continue her trek throughout the summer in Mexico, Asia and Australia.
Grande has also been made an honorary citizen of Manchester after organizing her One Love Manchester benefit show in early June to raise funds for the victims of the attack.
